Gothic bellydance: Pops and locks to the best indescribable music I've heard.
Folky goodness: Michael Berkowitz has been described as the lovechild of Paul Simon and Bob Dylan. So true.
Yummy food, etc: Talent-ful open mic, great food and drinks, crazy people. I love it.
Genius album production: Carl Rushing is a Pro Tools god and a very very very nice guy. He also gives lessons in Pro Tools and album production. I am far too dense to take these lessons, but convinced that they're great.
Kick-ass woman, Example A: Ani Difranco. Enough said.
Kick-ass woman, Example B: Spoken word and killer tunes. She is so, so, so intense.
